CUET UG 2024 Registration: The National testing Agency (NTA) today started the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2024 registration process. Aspirants can fill in the online application form at the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/Posted by Administrator
Candidates should remember that only one application is to be submitted by a candidate.
CUET UG 2024 schedule
As per the official schedule, the CUET UG 2024 exams are scheduled between May 15 and 31, and the results will be declared on June 30. However, students should remember that the date(s) may vary depending on the National Election Schedule.
The registration started today, and students have time till March 26 (11:50 pm) to apply for CUET. After this, students will be given time from March 28 till 29 to make corrections in their application forms.
City slip will be released from April 30 onwards, and the admit cards will be released in the second week of May 2024.
Changes, exam pattern
CUET UG 2024 will be conducted in the Hybrid mode (Computer-Based Test (CBT) / Pen & Paper). “For the subjects where there will be a higher percentage of registrations, we will bring in OMR (in multiple choice question format). In this way, we will be able to conduct the exam for those specific subjects on one day and in one shift for all candidates in the country. We will be able to use several schools, colleges and educational institutes as exam halls, just like we do for other exams such as NEET. “This will be benefit students, specifically those who are in rural areas, as they will not have to travel to far-off places for the exam,” UGC chairman M Jagadesh Kumar told indianexpress.com.

This year, too, the exam will be conducted in 13 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The exam is being offered in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India.
There are 33 languages and 27 subjects. A candidate may choose any subject/language as desired by the applicable University/ Organization. of these, 40 questions to be attempted out of 50 in each language. In General Test, 50 questions are to be attempted out of 60. It is advisable for candidates to select at least one language and the General Test.
Duration for all test papers would be 45 minutes except for Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Computer Science/Informatics Practices, and General Tests which would be 60 minutes. The examination will be conducted on multiple days in two or three shifts, depending on the number of candidates and subject choices.
